Black Country Chamber Events

Chamber events are an ideal way to make new contacts and gain new business. We aim to offer members three opportunities from attending -

  • New business associations and contacts
  • Learn information that could empower their business
  • A great time!

The events are run regularly across the whole of the Black Country Chamber region and members are welcome to attend as many of them as they wish.

The ability to create and maintain strong professional relationships is key to business success. Networking is the vital business skill that lets our members cultivate lasting business relationships and helps create a large sphere of influence to find new clients, contacts, referrals and opportunities.

We understand that time taken out of a working day has to be timely and well spent, so our events range from breakfast, lunch and evening events. We offer a selection of events from breakfast policy meetings to relaxed networking lunches, from learning seminars to table top focus on your business events. Where possible there is a chance for members to present their company in two-minute spotlight sessions. Some of our events are sponsored by members, giving other members an opportunity to find out more about fellow members and their businesses and learn about specific topics which may be of use to you.

Events across the region

Dudley Chamber holds a regular event on the first Friday in the month except where holidays clash. These take the form of a bi-monthly breakfast regularly held at the Village Hotel, Castlegate, Dudley, and alternate lunch which circulates around our member venues in the area.

Wolverhampton Chamber has a bi-monthly lunch on the third Tuesday in the month, complemented in alternate months with a Chamber Breakfast.

Walsall Chamber will host regular Director Briefings hosted by Chamber Patrons Sandler throughout the year (as will all areas) and currently attends the Walsall Business Breakfast Club every third Thursday.

Sandwell Chamber has a bi monthly lunch planned throughout the year which will circulate through member venues in the area.

Members can raise their business profile and keep informed on the latest issues through seminars, and influence decision makers at Chamber parliamentary reviews, lunches with the Bank of England and visits to Westminster.

We are also happy to host lighter and more fun events such as golf days, summer barbecues, or a Christmas race day. These events give an opportunity to network with colleagues and new acquaintances in a more relaxed atmosphere – a great way to do business. These are also a great chance to entertain and reward staff and clients alike.

Tradeshows and Exhibitions

Chamber tradeshows and exhibitions offer local businesses the opportunity to display their wares. Many exhibitions have been successful in generating business at these events, for a very small outlay. In addition to the large tradeshows we host mini trade shows where table-top display areas can be reserved at very economic rates. These offer great networking opportunities from meeting people visiting to other companies displaying their wares.

To book space at a Trade Show email events@blackcountrychamber.co.uk or call events direct on 0845 8724256.

To book on Events

All events are listed on this site where you can download a booking form. Either email your form to events@blackcountrychamber.co.uk, fax to 01384 242432 or T: 0845 8724256.

Please note we require payment at time of booking as this helps us to keep our charges as low as possible. On receipt of your credit card details or cheque we will raise an invoice which will be sent out to you. We understand that from time to time you may have to cancel your attendance and where ever possible we will endeavour to move you to an alternative date – as long as we have not been committed to paying for your place.

Remember that you can bring along a guest at a members rate – even if their company is not yet a member. We want to encourage companies to come along and find out more about the Chamber so this is a great way for you to get involved.

We communicate our event schedule via the website, via Prosper Magazine and via a regular monthly upcoming event notification. Make sure your email is registered to receive these monthly event updates. Members can register as many employees from their organisation as they wish this ensures that the information goes directly to those involved in networking and promotion. Your local area membership advisor and customer care contact will also send you out event reminders from time to time.

Interested in sponsoring a Chamber event?

We have reacted to your requests to have the opportunity to sponsor specific events to raise the profile of your company and allow you a little more time to outline your business. If you would like more information about sponsoring events please call your Local Area Membership Advisor in the first instance, or contact events and we can make contact for you. Remember that people like doing business with people they know, so make the most of your sponsorship by regularly attending events particularly before and after your event.
