CEO’s from Black Country Chamber of Commerce & Birmingham Airport Meet to Discuss Chamber Patron Benefits

IMG 0102 EditedPaul Kehoe the Chief Executive of Birmingham Airport, a Chamber Patron of Black Country Chamber of Commerce, met with Margaret Corneby the Chief Executive of Black Country Chamber of Commerce at his office in the Airport complex.

Paul and Margaret discussed various issues such as the proposed third runway at Heathrow airport and the implications this would have for the Black Country and Birmingham economy as a whole.

Birmingham Airport is keen to grow relationships and links with businesses in the Black Country and work in partnership with the Chamber to enhance their profile locally and to the benefit of Black Country Chamber members.

Margaret Corneby said “The Black Country Chamber of Commerce fully supports the expansion of Birmingham Airport to better serve the needs of local businesses. We are challenging the findings of the Davies Commission which seems to undo the rebalancing of the economy that HS2 promises. Regional airports offer a significant economic boost to the English regions and Black Country businesses want a local solution to their needs.”
