The Platinum Group talk Recruitment and Selection

IMG 0140Ultra Furniture Ltd, a member of The Platinum Group, kindly hosted the latest Platinum Peer Group (Vistage) meeting at their premises in Kingswinford. The Group members discussed “Recruitment & Selection”, with their Vistage Coach, Bankie Williams.

Bankie invited Nancy Slessenger, an inspirational speaker who has over 20 years’ experience in the field of “Performance Management”. As a successful author she has written the book “Difficult People Made Easy” on performance management.

Bankie welcomed Zach Steele, the new Plant Site Leader from SI Group UK based in Four Ashes, to his first meeting with The Platinum Group and also Helen McArdle, the Human Resource Director of GMS Group.

Working in partnership with Vistage, the world’s foremost Chief Executive/Director Leadership organisation, The Platinum Group members meet quarterly in a confidential peer to peer learning environment where fellow members act as a board of advisors. They test plans, assumptions and decisions and hold each other accountable for turning good intentions into great results.

The aim of the Chamber is to double the size of the Black Country economy in the next 10 years. The Black Country is the Industrial Heart of the UK and for us to grow the local economy we need to ensure the correct recruitment is a priority. Peer to peer learning will assist this economic progress across the region.
