Black Country Chamber of Commerce: Have your say

The Quarterly Economic Survey, the UK's largest private business survey, is underway, assessing the performance of businesses across the UK during the last quarter of 2014.
Black Country businesses have the chance to inform local stakeholders and to contribute to the drive to double the size of the local economy over the next ten years.

"The last survey showed some worrying signs," said Ninder Johal, President of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce. "Although our service industries appear to be doing quite well, there was a significant drop in the performance of our local manufacturing sector.

"We want to make sure that, coming up to the election in 2015, decision makers have a clear understanding of what the Industrial Heart of the UK really needs in terms of support.

"We have all the components to drive growth: a great Local Enterprise Partnership, setting out our strategy and vision, and a Growth Hub that delivers effective business support. However without the voice of local business driving the agenda, we may not realise the potential that our local businesses can offer.

"I urge all Black Country businesses to have your say. The survey only takes a few minutes and can be found on our websit"
