The Platinum Group Meet at Black Country Chamber of Commerce New Offices

The Platinum Group, which is a network of committed leaders from strategically important businesses in the Black Country, met together for their Peer Group meeting at the new offices of Black Country Chamber of Commerce at the Creative Industries Centre at the University of Wolverhampton Science Park.

The Platinum Peer Group meet quarterly, where CEO’s, MD’s and Owner Managers work collaboratively to learn about each other, analyse strategy and focus on developing effective solutions.

The Platinum Group met their new facilitator and coach, Wendyanne Shapiro with the day following a new format and approach.

Wendyanne works in partnership with organisations and brings a wealth of experience from the corporate and commercial industry. This includes a broad range of sectors and businesses, including manufacturing and engineering, covering areas such as employee engagement, leadership and development.

Gail Arnold, The Head of The Platinum Group said, “The Platinum Group is designed for senior business leaders within the high value manufacturing, automotive and logistics sector, with the emphasis in developing leadership skills, sharing best practice and working with like-minded people.”

The aim of the Chamber is to double the size of the Black Country economy by 2023. The Black Country is the Industrial Heart of the UK and for us to grow the local economy we need to ensure that the development of local Chief Executives continues. Peer to peer learning will assist this economic progress across the region.
