Paycare Expands Wolves Partnership

1st Kevin FavouriteWolverhampton-based Paycare has chosen to extend its long-standing relationship with Wolves to become a major partner, which has seen it announced as the new official sponsor for the back of the first team’s home and away shirts for the next three seasons.

Paycare is a not-for-profit organisation which helps individuals, families and businesses protect themselves against everyday costs and bills, and it is one of Wolverhampton’s most well-established and respected local businesses.

The Wolves / Paycare relationship started over 20 years ago with Paycare’s support for Wolves Community Trust and specifically their loyal backing of the Club’s disabled supporters’ lounge, which continues to benefit hundreds of disabled supporters every season.

More recently, Paycare has also made available its range of health cash plan premiums to Wolves’ own staff, which enables employees to cover themselves against everyday medical and healthcare costs via payroll deduction, and claim the costs back.

Paycare picks up the ‘back of shirt mantle’ from Reconomy, which superbly sponsored the Club in that capacity for three seasons.

Kevin Rogers, Chief Executive of Paycare, explained. “People are at the heart of all that we do here at Paycare, and as a not-for-profit organisation, we have donated over £2million to date to various worthwhile causes, local initiatives and projects, including being Founder Patrons of The Way Youth Zone and of course the Wolves’ Paycare Accessible Lounge. We help many individuals, businesses and families across the country look after their health and wellbeing, and it all started in our hometown of Wolverhampton in 1874 when Paycare was formerly known as Patient’s Aid Association. As an organisation passionate about Wolverhampton and the local communities, we’re absolutely thrilled to be strengthening our partnership of our local team, the mighty Wolves, and are very much looking forward to the seasons ahead.”

Jez Moxey, Chief Executive, Wolves, said, “Paycare have staunchly supported the Club and the local Wolverhampton community for decades and we’re delighted they have now decided to become one of the Club’s major partners.

“As I’ve said before, seeing partnerships develop over time is very satisfying and the 20-year relationship with Paycare is certainly one of our longest, most well established and successful partnerships across both Wolves Community Trust and the Club itself.
“Paycare’s Chief Executive, Kevin Rogers, leads a team of highly dedicated and professional staff who deliver a great service to the local community and beyond.

“We’re looking forward to working with Kevin and his team to bring Paycare’s products and services to the attention of an even wider audience over the coming seasons.”
