FBC Manby Bowdler Lawyers Leading the Field in Top Legal Guide

More than 25 solicitors at a Midlands law firm have been recognised in the latest edition of a guide to the nation’s top solicitors.

Three partners in FBC Manby Bowdler - James Sage, Steven Corfield and Guy Birkett - have again been placed on the ‘elite’ list of this year’s Legal 500 guide to outstanding lawyers and law firms in the UK. A further 23 lawyers working across a range of specialisms have been ‘recommended’ by the guide.

Guy is Head of Litigation and James is Head of Corporate, both based at the firm’s Wolverhampton office. Steven heads up the Agricultural & Rural Services team in Shrewsbury.

Managing Partner Kim Carr said: “Yet again, this prestigious guide has recognised the exceptional people working at FBC Manby Bowdler who are leading their sector in delivering high quality legal advice and stellar service across a number of complex areas.

“The Legal 500 is independent verification that, as a firm, we deliver stellar service to people and businesses across the West Midlands and Shropshire as we have been doing for many, many years.”

Four of the firm’s departments - commercial litigation, agriculture and estates, contentious trusts and probate, and family - received top tier rankings in the guide.

A further 12 departments were recommended by The Legal 500. They were: corporate and commercial, licensing, debt recovery, insolvency and corporate recovery, employment, personal injury, charities and not-for-profit, personal tax, trusts and probate, commercial property, planning, property litigation and intellectual property.

FBC Manby Bowdler employs more than 160 staff at offices in Wolverhampton, Willenhall, Shrewsbury, Telford and Bridgnorth.
