Black Country Chamber Member of the Week, Spinsonic Entertainment, Named in 100 Small Businesses for Small Business Saturday

MG 8061 4589Black Country Chamber of Commerce is celebrating Spinsonic Entertainment as the next Member of the Week, after their success of being named among the 100 small businesses in the UK via Small Business Saturday. Member of the Week is a Black Country Chamber initiative to celebrate the great work that our members are doing and to highlight the success stories in the local area.

Rachel Conlisk, owner of Spinsonic Entertainment, is a hula-hoop performer and teacher, who sells handmade adult fitness and dance hoops. She teaches hoop dance and hoop fitness classes to adults and family classes, but specialises in classes to adults who may have barriers to reaching regular exercise classes, whether through physical, psychological or mental health difficulties. She runs workshops and classes for adults with learning disabilities and mobility problems for Sandwell Council, Birmingham MIND, schools and the Deaf Cultural Association.

Rachel commented: “I joined the Chamber not really knowing what to expect and I am delighted with the results. The events they put on have been fantastic and I have made some great connections through the Chamber network. Business can be very lonely at times but the Chamber helps you connect with others so you can share your challenges and triumphs. I am so proud to be part of the small business community, it provides a network to share best practice and a support group to help move your business forward.”

Black Country Chamber of Commerce wants to support businesses to grow and succeed. Our Member of the Week is an excellent example of how this is to be achieved. The Black Country is the Industrial Heart of the UK with many high quality and niche businesses working together to develop further to be market leaders.
