CSCM Look To Expand In 2017

building 1CSCM was established 21 years ago by its founding Director Jude Thompson. Originally started in Halesowen, it moved to Stourbridge for a number of years and then had the privilege of being based for 5 years onsite with their longstanding customer, West Bromwich Albion Football Club. In 2011 CSCM relocated to their own premises, where they are still situated, on the Wolverhampton Road, in Oldbury.

The team’s passion for I.T. has grown CSCM into the company it is today. It started as a very traditional break fix I.T. support company and has grown into a full service managed I.T. solutions provider with a focus on new technologies.

At CSCM the aim is to work closely with their clients and provide quality I.T .solutions using the most up to date and trusted technology. They listen to what their customers say and give advice based on extensive experience and expertise, helping them make decisions impacting their business. CSCM now have customers all over the world including Dubai, South Africa and USA, The CSCM Technical Architects now travel abroad on a regular basis. The team has also spent time with local schools and colleges giving advice on a career in the I.T. sector and to further back this they now have several young apprentices in place.

The CSCM team are expanding and the company is looking at how this can be achieved in the current office space. Plans are being drawn up and internal building works will start in the New Year. CSCM are also looking to expand the team and have a number of positions open.

As part of the companies long term expansion plans the company has just launched a new business brand ‘The Business Hive.” The Business Hive offers cloud hosted solutions through CSCM and other I.T providers across the world. CSCM saw that a number of small I.T. Companies weren’t offering cloud based solution and thought that a community of providers could work together to provide global solutions for businesses. So far it has been an amazing success with a number of UK resellers already on board. The company has also had its first international reseller in Australia join the team. The Business Hive gives customers a reliable establish hosted platform with the added advantage of being able to deal with their trusted I.T. support provider. The Business Hive is looking for more resellers of the services and embarking on a number of marketing campaigns across the country to support the existing ones.

To celebrate CSCM’s recent milestone birthday and also the launch of The Business Hive and website CSCM held a celebration Fish and Chip networking event in partnership with local accountants and fish and chip partners ‘Griffiths and Pegg’ This was hosted at Hagley Golf Club and attended by over 50 local business owners. Local legend ‘Blind Dave Heeley’ was the guest speaker at the lunchtime event and also received a generous donation for his own charity –The Albion Foundation, from a representative of The Halesowen Rotary Club. As a thank you on the day Jude agreed to join Dave on his next charity marathon in 2017. CSCM donated all proceeds from day to the QE in Birmingham.
