Black Country Chamber Member of the Week SecureProBlack Country Chamber of Commerce is celebrating SecurePro as their latest Member of the Week, with the company set for growth after being awarded funding to deliver practical security training. Member of the Week is a Black Country Chamber initiative to celebrate the great work that our members are doing and to highlight success stories in the local area.

Based in Stourbridge, SecurePro offer a complete range of security and training services, from first aid and safety awareness courses through to security consultancy, all of which are delivered by a team of fully licensed industry professionals. In addition, they also provide alarm response and key holding services to a range of companies throughout the Black Country, offering peace of mind for business owners.

To complement the range of services that they already offer, the business has recently received funding from the Black Country Impact Project, which enables them to provide security training to 16 to 29 year olds who are either out of work or work less than 16 hours a week. In addition, through their involvement in this project, SecurePro are able to provide work experience placements and potential offers of employment to those who complete the course.

Tom Booth, Compliance Director at SecurePro, commented: “We are delighted to have received this funding from the Black Country Impact Project, which will help to facilitate our growth in 2017, whilst enabling us to deliver quality training to help in the skills development of young people throughout the region. As a business, we pride ourselves on going the extra mile for our clients and are passionate about our community, making sure that we are involved in local initiatives such as the Bilston Business Watch Group.

“We have been members of the Black Country Chamber for a while and the support we have received, particularly from our Relationship Manager, has been a great asset for our business. In addition, the opportunities that we have had as a result of our membership have been important in helping us to engage with the local business community. For example, we were invited to give a talk on personal safety awareness at an event that was held at Walsall College.”

Black Country Chamber of Commerce wants to support businesses to grow and succeed. Our Member of the Week is an excellent example of how this is to be achieved. The Black Country is the Industrial Heart of the UK with many high quality and niche businesses working together to develop further to be market leaders.
