Private Hospital Offers Local Clinics & Events

Nuffield Wolverhampton by nightBased in Tettenhall, Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital now also offers NHS Choose & Book clinics in medical practices at Brewood and Northgate, Bridgnorth. If more convenient, patients can ask their GP to refer them to these local clinics. Should a surgical procedure be required, this will be provided at the well appointed hospital in Wood Road.

Specialists working with Nuffield Health provide an extensive range of private healthcare services. The community clinics offer orthopaedic, pain management and ophthalmology. Set in six acres of tranquil mature grounds, the purpose-built, well-equipped hospital has 28 en-suite private rooms, a technologically advanced imaging suite, two ultra clean air operating theatres, treatment rooms and an award winning endoscopy suite. The hospital is easily accessible to a wide area with plentiful free parking.

For the last two years, the hospital has been named as a top performer in the NHS Partners Network Report on independent sector providers caring for NHS patients. The private hospital in Wolverhampton is one of a group of 31 hospitals nationwide, which is the largest not-for-profit organisation in the UK. This means that any surplus funds are invested back into the hospital for the benefit of all our patients.

Since 2016 the private hospital has been the medical services supplier to Wolverhampton Wanderers. Two years ago, a £1.9 million imaging suite was installed which is open six days a week, providing rapid access and no waiting lists.  Various groups of patients; those with health insurance, or if paying direct and if referred as an NHS patient, all are equally welcome to access swift treatment at the hospital.

Please see Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital’s Facebook page to check how patients rate their experience. If you would like to sample the services on offer, the following free events are being hosted by consultants at the hospital. Each starts with snacks and refreshments at 6.30pm:

  • Wednesday 5 July: Let’s Talk Hips
  • Thursday  13 July: Let’s Talk Knees
