untitled 0801 2It’s game, network and match for a Midlands IT company after netting a new contract with Wolverhampton Lawn Tennis and Squash Club.

IT experts Concero Ltd have been awarded the contract to upgrade, manage and maintain the sports club’s computer and wireless networks as well as data storage and security.

The company, based in Newbridge Tettenhall, provides IT services forschools and businesses across Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, Dudley, Sandwell and Walsall.

Securing a contract with the sports club is the latest in a series of new business deals for Concero Ltd.

Marc Hughes, operations manager at Wolverhampton Lawn Tennis and Squash Club, in Newbridge Crescent, said: “We are undergoing a lot of investment at the club and we realised our network was out-of-date and not fit for purpose.

“Concero surveyed the site, looked at our current IT provision and resolved network problems. With their help we have invested in new computers and laptops and we are now using their expertise to plan for future upgrades.”

Bradley Clegg, Concero director, added: “We work with schools, small, medium and large businesses and whatever the nature of their business – be it sport, school or industry, they all have increasing expectations and demands on the computer their staff and customers use. In this case the club needed new hardware as well as improving its wireless network and more importantly its data storage and security. It’s a nice case of game, network and match for both businesses.”
