Awards Writing Workshop to Support Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards 2017

BCCCA16 131Businesses can now apply for the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards 2017, celebrating the great work that they do throughout the region.

With 12 award categories that cover a wide range of sectors and capacities, they serve as an ideal platform upon which to showcase your company and celebrate your success, as we recognise those who truly contribute towards the local economy. In addition, this year we are proud to be working with the British Chambers of Commerce to help increase the recognition of the Black Country business community on what is potentially a national scale.

With this in mind, an Awards Writing Workshop will be taking place in the run up to the deadline for applications. The workshop will take place on 8th June and will be led by Peter Starr, Director of Chilli Pepper Development Ltd. Peter has worked in Blue Chip organisations for 15 years and now works with businesses to maximise all of their sales and marketing opportunities.

Peter Starr, Director of Chilli Pepper Development, commented: “Applying for professional awards is a great way to ensure that your business is receiving the recognition that it deserves. The publicity, not forgetting the feel good factor, an award brings to an organisation and their staff is well worth the effort of writing an entry. In essence, this informative workshop will help you to understand what to write and how to make your entry stand out from the crowd.”

This workshop aims to provide a summary of the awards, as well as some essential tips and coaching in preparing your entry for the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards 2017.

The deadline to apply for the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards is Friday 30th June 2017, and the shortlist for each of the categories will be announced in September. Winners will then be announced at the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards Dinner 2017 will take place on 17th November 2017 at Wolverhampton Racecourse.
