Last Chance to Apply for the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards 2017

The application deadline for the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards 2017 is fast approaching, with businesses from across the region being encouraged to submit their entries ahead of the deadline on Friday 30th June.

With 12 award categories that cover a wide range of sectors and capacities, our Annual Awards serve as an ideal platform upon which to showcase your company and celebrate your success. In addition, this year we are proud to be working with the British Chambers of Commerce to help increase the recognition of the Black Country business community on what is potentially a national scale.

This year’s categories include:

*These Awards are also British Chambers of Commerce Awards and entries will automatically be entered for regional and national Awards.

Furthermore, the Black Country Chamber of Commerce are also supporting two additional Awards that are by nomination only. These two awards are in memory of Tony Andrews, an enterprise adviser who was well respected by peers and clients alike, and his colleagues and friends would like to recognise local business creation and support via these two awards:

Tony Andrews Enterprise Award
This is for a pre-start that has engaged with one of the enterprise organisations (from January 2016 to end March 2017) that are now an established business.

Enterprise Adviser Award
Any adviser nominated by any pre-starts that engaged with one of the enterprise organisations (from January 2016 to end March 2017) that are now an established business.

Please note, you may apply for more than one award category and the awards are open to both members and non-members of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce.

Adrian Wright, President of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, commented: “The Chamber’s Annual Awards provides a great opportunity for businesses from across the Black Country to celebrate their success. As a region, we have a large number of innovative companies that operate in a diverse range of sectors, which is something that the Chamber seeks to actively champion. I wholeheartedly encourage businesses to apply for the Awards, and I look forward to celebrating their successes with them at the Annual Awards dinner on 17th November.

The shortlist for each of the categories will be announced in September. Winners will then be announced at the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards Dinner 2017 will take place on 17th November 2017 at Wolverhampton Racecourse.
