Grand Theatre to Hold Brassed Off Networking Event in August

Vicky Price, Associate Director of Development and Communications, said: “Attending a Grand Theatre networking event is social networking in its truest form. It’s a chance to enjoy fantastic hospitality and a top-class show, whilst developing long-lasting business connections on a more personable level.

“We are delighted to have Credibly Green as the sponsor for the event and we are particular keen to welcome local manufacturers to the Brassed Off networking event to celebrate all things #madeinWolverhampton.”

Brassed Off is a funny and life-affirming tale of community spirit and triumph in the face of adversity.  It’s 1992; and Danny’s lifelong ambition to lead Grimley Colliery Band to the National Brass Band Competition at the Royal Albert Hall looks like it might finally happen. But as Grimley pit faces closure, the future looks bleak as the town is thrown into conflict. Flugelhorn player Gloria arrives in town bringing with her a renewed sense of hope and a touch of romance, but no-one knows who she’s really playing for...

Tickets for the Brassed Off networking event are £15 each, which includes drinks, buffet and a ticket for the show.
