Premier and Walsall Business Parks Celebrate 25 Years of Success

Pats tableOn the 7th July 2017, Premier and Walsall Business Parks celebrated their achievements over the last 25 years with a Gala Dinner at Calderfields Golf Club, Walsall.

The event was a wonderful opportunity to look back at their many successes over the years and thank colleagues and partners for their support.

Over 100 guests enjoyed a delicious three course dinner and a variety of entertainment, the fun filled evening also featured a charity raffle which raised a total of £625 for Cancer Research UK, and thanks were made to all the Business Park members for their raffle donations.

One of the guests, Jeff Marlow, commented on the evening: “It was a fantastic night and a real celebration of over 25 years of the Business Park initiative. It was great to see so many old friends, including Brian Lowe who inspired and led the Business parks for so many years. It was an honour to be invited to join in the celebrations.”

The Premier and Walsall Business Parks have had so many successes over the last 25 years, but a couple of key achievements include pioneering the NET bus which took IT training out to businesses, the ongoing work to reduce crime and vandalism in the area, and an M6 Training Project which supported over 70 local companies with vital training.

The event was such a success and showcased the fantastic businesses and community spirit of the Business Parks in the area and the work the Black Country Chamber of Commerce has done to support the growth and development of the region.
