He is also a finalist with the multidisciplinary group for developing a protocol to deal with the rare complication of blindness associated with filler injections.
MATA is a leading medical and aesthetics academy for healthcare professionals in the UK led by Cosmetic and Plastic Surgeons.
Mr Humzah is an expert in cosmetic surgery, reconstructive surgery, cosmetic breast surgery and facial surgery and delivers these procedures on a weekly basis at the private hospital.
He also provides non-surgical treatments such as laser therapy and treatments to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
Mr Humzah said: “It is a real honour to be a finalist in both categories. The awards are a fantastic way of celebrating high standards and excellence in the industry, as well as creating a real buzz and excitement.”
Mr Humzah has taken centre stage as key note speaker at a number of high profile industry events during the last 12 months.
He has attended Royal College of Surgeons and Royal Society of Medicine events in London, Korea and Paris and has also delivered an anatomy talk on face ligaments in Singapore.
As a regular campaigner for improved standards for patients seeking surgical and non-surgical procedures Mr Humzah is delighted to be recognised in this year’s awards.
