About this event
The countdown to awards night has begun. Is your entry ready to compete?Ever wondered why some companies always seem to be picking up awards?
The secret isn't that they're simply better than everyone else – it's that they know how to tell their story in a way that makes judges sit up and take notice.
The Black Country Chamber of Commerce has joined forces with PR and communications consultancy Be Bold Media for two award application writing workshops before entries close on 24th July.
The workshop will reveal the insider tricks that have helped Be Bold clients achieve a 90% success rate in clients being shortlisted for regional, national and international awards.
What will you learn?
In this session, we'll show you:
- How to decode what judges are really looking for (hint: it's not just about being the biggest or richest!)
- The common mistakes that send award entries straight to the 'no' pile
- Clever techniques to make your achievements shine, even if you're a small business
- How to prepare for judges' visits that seal the deal
Be Bold has helped companies from manufacturing to professional services, tech firms to charities all achieve award success.
Be Bold’s managing director Amy Bould, who will lead both workshops, said: “Our track record speaks for itself. Our clients have won everything from respected regional business awards to the award for Best Property in the World and the pinnacle of recognition, the business Oscar of a King's Awards for Enterprise.
“We bring real-world experience both in writing winning entries and sitting on judging panels. This unique dual perspective means we understand exactly what makes an entry stand out.”
