About this event

Success rarely happens in isolation. The most impactful ideas, careers, and opportunities are built through meaningful relationships, shared experiences, and a willingness to work together. 

This event will bring together professionals aged 35 and under from across the region to explore how collaboration can unlock new possibilities for individuals, businesses, and communities.

To kick off the afternoon, James Wigley from Wolverhampton Grand Theatre will host a fun quiz, giving attendees the chance to test their knowledge and win tickets to upcoming shows.

We are delighted to welcome Zak Douglas as our guest speaker*.  Zak is an actor, youth theatre leader, and mentor from Wolverhampton who is passionate about the power of community, connection, and creating opportunities for others. Alongside a successful television career, with roles in productions including G'wed, The Good Ship Murder, Vera, Ridley, and The Larkins, Zak has remained committed to supporting and developing young talent through his work with Central Youth Theatre. 

Drawing on his experiences both on and off screen, Zak will share his insights on how meaningful relationships, collaboration, and a strong network can help unlock opportunities, drive success, and inspire personal growth. 

Following an audience Q&A with Zak, attendees will have the opportunity to stay for our Summer Social, where they can continue conversations, make new connections, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Dockworks, with the bar open throughout the afternoon and a variety of food vendors available to purchase refreshments.
