It is an immensely practical qualification where candidates have to prove they can actually perform their job role to a high standard. The significant areas of international trade are covered in depth - including administration, documentation, Customs' procedures, despatching goods and ensuring payment. Over-riding "constants" throughout the programme are the need for Customer Service, Commercial Awareness and Legal Compliance.

Through a series of four workshops, candidates will learn the skills necessary to operate professionally within the workplace. Qualification is achieved by the presentation of a portfolio of "proof" that they can do the job.
