Arb Truckman Donates Camping Gear to Support Military and Veteran Families in Need of Respite – Two Members of the Platinum Group Working Together

ARB UK has donated a selection of camping chairs and a table from its outdoor range to Sponsored Breaks, a community interest company (CIC) providing gifted campervan getaways to families from military and emergency services backgrounds.
The donation will be used alongside the campervan to enhance stays, helping to create welcoming outdoor spaces where guests can relax, reconnect, and begin to heal.
Founded on the principle that everyone deserves a break, Sponsored Breaks supports serving and ex-military personnel, emergency service workers, and individuals affected by PTSD, serious illness, or bereavement. The organisation works with social workers, GPs, community groups, and veteran support organisations to identify those most in need of time away.
Simon Love, Founder of Sponsored Breaks, said:
“Through conversations and feedback, I’ve seen first-hand the day-to-day trauma Armed Forces and Blue Light personnel endure to keep our country safe. That trauma takes its toll, and statistics show that many suffer from PTSD. Sponsored Breaks is dedicated to prevention – giving people the chance to take time out before they reach breaking point, as well as supporting recovery.
