ASSA ABLOY is bridging the skills gap & empowering future tradespeople

ASSA ABLOY are excited to introduce the Jigtech Next Generation campaign, a commitment to advancing the construction industry by supporting the development of skilled tradespeople.

With a growing skills shortage in the construction sector and a new wave of professionals entering the field, investing in upskilling is more important than ever. This campaign is designed to equip both newcomers and experienced workers with the tools and knowledge they need to work more efficiently and confidently. Jigtech isn’t just a product, it’s a smarter, faster way of working.

Kickstarting the Campaign

To launch this campaign, ASSA ABLOY recently welcomed representatives from Wolverhampton College’s curriculum management team to discuss collaboration opportunities. By working with colleges, they aim to introduce students to Jigtech from the outset of their training, ensuring they have hands-on experience with innovative installation solutions.

What is Jigtech?

Jigtech is a revolutionary door handle and latch fitting system that allows installation in under five minutes, a fraction of the time compared to traditional methods. Designed for speed and precision, Jigtech simplifies the process for both experienced professionals and apprentices, making installations quicker, easier, and more efficient.


The Jigtech Challenge

To celebrate the campaign launch, ASSA ABLOY hosted a Jigtech Challenge event at their Willenhall site, where the college curriculum management team and ASSA ABLOY colleagues had the chance to test their skills, compete for prizes, and experience firsthand what makes Jigtech the future of installation.
