Hi, form the founder of The Black Country Therapeutic Centre.

Let me introduce myself; my name is Tommy. I have worked as a psychotherapist for over 12 years, and I also teach within this subject area.

I am the founder of the Black Country Therapeutic Centre (BCTC). Throughout my career, I have coached and supported individuals and services in establishing meaningful counselling services, and BCTC is no exception. The Black Country Therapeutic Centre was established to provide therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and adults in the Black Country, offering more than just typical talking therapy. If you would like to know more about us, please reach out; we are always looking for support and opportunities.

I would also like to share that some members of our counselling team had the opportunity to be part of the Healing Collective Team for the largest Trauma Conference in Oxford.

What is the Healing Collective? It is a global collective of trauma-informed practitioners, therapists, and healers that provides compassionate, human-centered support for attendees. This year's Oxford Trauma Conference explored the relationship between science, spirit, and the body. We were fortunate to be in the presence of leading voices, including Myira Khan, Gabor Maté, and Richard Schwartz. The Healing Collective, with our BCTC therapists among its members, offered attendees compassionate, human-centered support throughout the event.

Looking forward to meeting you on this new and exciting journey.
