Local commercial printer, Clarkeprint, have been nominated as a finalist in the ‘Books’ Category of 2021 Digital Printer Awards, recognition for their work with Birmingham Design Festival on the fantastic ‘The Creative City’ catalogues!
The first time they have become a finalist at these prestigious awards, which have been running since 2007, is a testament to the investment they have made over the last 18-months to re-affirm themselves as a leading commercial print provider within Birmingham.
Becoming a Main Partner for the 2021 Birmingham Design Festival, Clarkeprint produced the wildly popular catalogue of artwork from some of the region’s top designers as part of their “The Creative City” 2021 Summer Conference, a celebration of the local design industry held in Birmingham in August 2021.
Nigel Clarke, Director at Clarkeprint, says “I’m delighted that our work on the BDF Creative City Catalogue has received a nomination at the Digital Printer Awards; a huge amount of effort went into the project from all involved, so it’s great that it is receiving recognition.”
Luke Tonge from Birmingham Design commented “We're really delighted with the catalogues and the work Clarkeprint have done for us on it – it turned out exactly as I'd hoped and there's honestly nothing I would change if we were to do it again.”
The award ceremony takes place on 4th November at the InterContinental London Park Lane.
