Black Country Chamber Member Launches UK Career Intelligence Platform to Help Workers Navigate AI Disruption

Xplorient, a Black Country Chamber member, has launched Xtell, a UK career intelligence platform that tells workers whether their job is being Displaced, Evolved or Extended by Artificial Intelligence, using UK Government data sources.
A Black Country technology startup has launched what it describes as the UK's most comprehensive career intelligence platform, helping workers, employers, and organisations understand the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on specific professional roles.
Xtell, developed by Xplorient Limited and available at intelligence.xplorient.com, classifies over 260 UK professional roles as Displaced, Evolved or Extended by AI, automation and robotics. The platform draws on six UK Government data sources including the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology AI Occupational Assessment, the ONS Standard Occupational Classification, the Skills England UK Standard Skills Classification, and the Department for Education Occupations in Demand list.
The platform is free to use. In under two minutes, any professional can check their role and see informative data. This includes their displacement risk score, a breakdown of which tasks in that role AI is taking over versus which stay distinctly human, the skills rising fastest in demand for their field, and UK vacancy data, among other insights.
Rachel Garwood, founder of Xplorient Limited, said: "Most workers know AI is changing the job market but very few have access to specific intelligence about what it means for their particular role. Generic headlines create anxiety without giving people the information they need to act. Xtell uses the same government data that policymakers use to make decisions about the future of work and makes it accessible to every professional for free."
The platform also offers a Career Intelligence Report, providing a personalised PDF covering ten intelligence dimensions for a specific role and seniority level, and a Pro subscription giving unlimited access to the full intelligence suite including personalised displacement risk scoring.
The platform currently tracks over 260 UK professional roles across 10+ industry clusters spanning healthcare, education, technology, construction, hospitality, public service, sustainability, and more. Careers advisers, employers, and educational institutions can access institutional licensing arrangements.
