Black Country Chamber of Commerce Announces Board Members

Chair of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Board, Bankie Williams has today welcomed new Board members and announces a new Vice President

Professor Geoff Layer, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Wolverhampton, will take the role of Vice President working alongside Chamber President Jude Thompson who enters his own second year as President of the region’s leading business support organisation.

Jatinder Sharma OBE, FCCA - Principal & Chief Executive of Walsall College, has joined the Chamber Board following today’s annual AGM. Wolverhampton born, Jatinder, a qualified accountant and highly experienced leader, is Principal and Chief Executive of Walsall College, having previously held a number of senior positions in both private & public sectors.

Jatinder joins fellow Board members, Simon Bond LLB(Hons), LLM, FCIArb, Director of Bond Legal Ltd, a boutique employment law and people management consultancy and Sarah Moorhouse BA (Hons) MCIM MCIPR MIoD, Operations & Marketing Director of BCRS Business Loans who were both re-elected as Board members.

This year has been a tough one for many firms and sectors and the Chamber has worked to ensure that the region is not left behind.”
