Bridge Automotive Academy is proud to strengthen its partnership with Sandwell College

Black Country Chamber members Sandwell College and Bridge Automotive Academy are collaborating to deliver high-quality apprenticeships that prepare the next generation of skilled technicians for successful careers in the automotive industry.

Led by Andrew Southan, Training Centre Manager at Bridge Automotive Academy, the collaboration focuses on developing practical, career-ready skills across motor vehicle, panel and paint disciplines.

Together, Bridge Automotive Academy and Sandwell College are equipping young people across the West Midlands with the technical expertise, confidence and professional grounding needed to thrive.

They will be providing apprenticeships ion Vehicle Damage Panel Technician and Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician, both at Level 3

The programme not only addresses the current skills gap in the automotive sector but also ensures that local employers benefit from a pipeline of well-trained, job-ready professionals. Apprentices are mentored by experienced industry experts and supported every step of the way, blending classroom learning with hands-on experience in modern, fully equipped facilities.
