AFC Wolves CIC has grown from a single grassroots session in 2017 to an organisation supporting over 1,000 young people each week across Wolverhampton and the wider Black Country.

Operating 60+ teams, development centres and school partnerships, the organisation has focused on structured growth, combining community sport with governance, sustainability and collaboration. Key partnerships with schools, education providers, local businesses and sponsors have enabled AFC Wolves to professionalise operations and expand access, including a growing female pathway and structured volunteer development model.

Alongside AFC Wolves, Company Founder & Football club Chairman, Luke Thompson also supports Oldbury United FC, strengthening links between clubs and sharing operational systems to improve sustainability across the region. Future ambitions include securing long-term facilities at Rooker Avenue and developing a replicable framework that could support other towns and cities.

As AFC Wolves continues structured expansion across Wolverhampton and Sandwell, the organisation is selectively engaging with values-aligned businesses and institutions looking to support sustainable community infrastructure.

This is community infrastructure built through collaboration , and designed to last.
