Deadlegz selects Arrive Alive as charity partner for the World’s Toughest Row

The impact of Deadlegz selecting Arrive Alive as a third and final charity partner for the World’s Toughest Row highlights a significant collaboration aimed at raising awareness and funds for lifesaving charity.
This partnership combines the formidable challenge of the World’s Toughest Row whilst raising vital funds the publicly funded charity Arrive Alive, an organisation dedicated to saving lives within communities following a 999 call. Deadlegz, known for its commitment to endurance sports, extraordinary challenges and supporting charities. The Deadlegz team have chosen Arrive Alive to be one of three charity partners for this demanding 3000 mile event from La Gomera to Antigua in December 2025.
The World’s Toughest Row involves participants rowing across the Atlantic Ocean, testing not only their physical limits but also their mental resilience. This collaboration underscores the importance of mental health and physical health particularly in high-pressure situations such as extreme sports. The incredible Deadlegz team comprises of four members Rob Oliver, Matt Humphries, Kev Joynes and Tom Hayward. Arrive Alive focuses on providing voluntary operated lifesaving vehicles within communities and is solely reliant on donations to fund lifesaving resources.
Between June 2024 and January 2025 over 1950 life threatening 999 calls were attended to by an Arrive Alive vehicle. The partnership with Deadlegz allows Arrive Alive to reach a wider audience, raising both awareness and raise vital funds to help to save lives. The selection of Arrive Alive as a charity partner aligns with Deadlegz's vision of helping to support small but mighty causes that make a lasting impact on peoples lives. By highlighting the importance of mental health within the context of a physically demanding challenge, the partnership serves as a platform to educate participants and spectators alike about the significance of mental and physical well-being.
This collaboration is aimed at raising funds for additional lifesaving vehicles for Arrive Alive. As part of the partnership, Deadlegz will promote Arrive Alive's initiatives throughout the event, encouraging participants to raise funds and awareness for the charity. There are also a number of sponsorship opportunities available from making a one off donation to selecting a sponsorship package to support the 3000 mile mission. The rigorous training and preparation for the World’s Toughest Row is underway by the incredible Deadlegz team.
