City of Wolverhampton College is taking part in the Black Country Business Festival and hosting an online information session on all things apprenticeship on Tuesday 6 October, 8am-10am.
The apprenticeship levy, government funding incentives, apprenticeship standards, end point assessments, setting up an online digital portal.... all there to help make recruiting an apprentice easier but it might seem a bit overwhelming at the same time. But, worry not - help is at hand from City of Wolverhampton College's apprenticeship team!
We're delighted to be hosting a virtual information session (as part of the Black Country Business Festival) on Tuesday 6 October, 8am-10am to talk about how apprenticeships can benefit your business, the training and assessment process, government incentives to help you take on an apprentice, and details of how to set up a digital portal to access training and funding and manage apprenticeship training online.
Whether you want to recruit your first apprentice and don't know where to start, have got a vacancy you can't fill, want to understand what funding you'll be entitled to and how to access it, or want to know more about the new apprenticeship standards and the end point assessments your apprentices will have to undergo when they finish their training, our expert team will be on-hand to answer your queries.
Hosted by myself, Jo Baugh, head of employer engagement, industrial placements and strategic partnerships at the college, I'll be joined by my team of dedicated account managers and the interactive session will include presentations, discussions and the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
Back in June we hosted a number of industry-specific online sessions that were well received by employers from across the region so we're sure that this session will be just as useful and informative too!
If you have any queries about the session or would like to speak to one of the team about taking on an apprentice please call 01902 837163 or email firstname.lastname@example.org - we're still working from home but it's business as usual and we'll be in touch with you straight away.
Book your place here and we look forward to you joining us on 6 October!
Jo and the apprenticeship team.
