A team from George Green LLP is taking on the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge raising money for the law firm’s charity of the year, Myeloma UK.

On Saturday 18th June, a team from George Green LLP will take on the challenge of climbing up (and down) three of the highest and most iconic mountains in Wales: Snowdon, Wales’ tallest peak and the highest in the UK outside of Scotland; Cader Idris at the southerly edge of the Snowdonia National Park; and Pen y Fan, the highest peak in the Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales.

The team will start the physically and mentally demanding challenge at 5am aiming to finish just under 18 hours later!

Myeloma UK do not receive any government funding and therefore rely on voluntary donations and fundraising activities to support patients and their families. On average 15 people are diagnosed with myeloma every day in the UK and Myeloma UK is the only dedicated funder of myeloma research in the UK with an ongoing commitment to invest in ground-breaking research.

George Green has set up a JustGiving page in order to receive sponsorships, please see the link to spur on and sponsor the GG team if you so wish:

David Stevenson Chief Executive George Green commented: “We did the Yorkshire Three Peaks three years ago and it’s been a long, long wait to tackle our next challenge but at last it’s here! We know it will be tough but everyone in the group is determined to go the course. Hard work yes, but we will have some fun along the way of that, I am sure. It’s a great cause as well which means a lot to us.”
