You can learn all about apprenticeships at City of Wolverhampton's Open Day

People who want to get on the career ladder and earn while they learn can find out more about apprenticeship schemes at an open day at City of Wolverhampton College on Saturday, November 30.

Staff will be on-hand at the college’s three campuses – Paget Road in Compton, Wellington Road in Bilston, and Metro One in the city centre – from 10am until 2pm with details of apprenticeship vacancies which enable people to combine working for an employer with studying for an industry-recognised qualification.

The college, which currently supports around 1200 apprentices working for employers across the region, is currently recruiting people to train as hairdressers and barbers, as well as work in business administration, hospitality, IT, marketing and social media roles in companies across the West Midlands, Shropshire and Worcestershire.

Apprentices will usually attend college one day a week, with the cost of their qualification being met by their employer, and will receive on-the-job training in the workplace and the support of a college assessor throughout their programme.

Find out which campus to visit for different apprenticeship areas and to book a place at the event here  or call Tel: 01902 836000
