New Evaluation Report Highlights the Impact of Help to Grow: Management

Recent evaluation findings demonstrate the positive impact of Help to Grow: Management on SME leadership, confidence and business growth.
The latest evaluation of the Help to Grow: Management programme shows just how much it can help SME leaders build their confidence, develop their leadership skills and improve their businesses.
The findings reflect much of what we’ve seen through five years of delivering the programme here at Aston Centre for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship. Participants regularly tell us that they feel more confident as leaders, have a better understanding of how to improve their business, and are able to put what they’ve learned into practice.
The evaluation found that:
- 91% of participants improved their leadership and management skills.
- 92% felt more confident leading their business.
- 91% increased their understanding of what drives productivity.
- 90% shared what they learned with colleagues, helping to spread the benefits across their organisation.
Participants were also more confident than SME leaders who hadn’t taken part in the programme when it came to leading through change, putting business strategies into practice and building resilience within their organisations.
These are encouraging results, and they underline the practical difference the programme can make for business leaders. It's a fantastic way to develop leadership skills and give people the confidence and knowledge to make changes in their businesses and keep moving forward.
