RetailCU, part of Penny Post Group, has partnered with Halfords to support the financial wellbeing of over 12,000 colleagues, offering simple, trustworthy ways to save and access affordable credit, helping employees feel more in control of their finances.

Money worries have a major effect on work performance. The 2025 CIPD Good Work Index Survey found 30% of employees said they could not cope with an unexpected £300 bill, 19% said they had lost sleep due to worrying, and 13% said these worries negatively impacted their work.
