We spoke to Laura Fox, Managing Director of Fox HR on plans for 2025.

Fox HR Services Limited is ready to share best practice with Chamber colleagues as businesses adjust to changes in employment rights.

Laura Fox, managing director of the Wolverhampton-based Bronze member, expects to see a stronger focus on people-centric growth, with businesses investing in employee development as a key to scaling effectively.

What does your company do?

We specialise in HR support for growth-focused businesses, helping them stay compliant while building strong, productive teams. From handling employee relations to shaping people development strategies, we ensure businesses are set up to grow confidently and sustainably.

What have been your company’s key achievements in 2024?

This year, we grew our team to support even more fantastic small businesses across the Black Country, helping them stay compliant and develop their people. We took on some unique challenges from handling TUPE transfers and complex employee relations to leading independent investigations and strengthened our role as HR experts through published articles and webinars.

How will you be looking to grow in 2025?

We will focus on building long-term partnerships with more businesses across the region, adding value through tailored HR support and supporting business growth by developing and empowering their people. We are also aiming to strengthen our team further, expanding our capacity to handle complex HR challenges and support business growth across the region.

What do you think the top trends in your sector will be next year?

We expect to see a stronger focus on people-centric growth, with businesses investing in employee development as a key to scaling effectively. Compliance will definitely stay front and centre though, with Labour’s proposed changes to employment rights pushing businesses to prioritise fair pay, family-friendly policies, and day-one rights.

How are you hoping to collaborate with other Black Country Chamber members and make the most of Chamber opportunities next year?

Next year, we are excited by the opportunity to work more closely with Chamber members through networking events, sharing best practices, and exploring ways to support each other’s growth. We will be actively involved in Chamber events and focusing on building strong, supportive partnerships with local businesses.
