We’re on a mission to spread a little extra Easter joy to local children’s wards, hospices and community centres — and we need your help.
At heart, our work is about people. It’s about care, compassion, and being there for our community when it matters most. But supporting our community doesn’t only happen during difficult times, it also means showing up with kindness, generosity, and a little bit of joy where we can.
This week, we were delighted to welcome a very special new “team member” to our Bloxwich branch… our Easter Egg Delivery Manager, Walshy.
Walshy arrived with an important mission. He’s putting together an Easter Egg hunt with a difference — collecting chocolate eggs to donate to children’s wards, hospices, and community centres across our local area. For many families, Easter can be a challenging time. A small gesture, like receiving an Easter egg, can make a big difference to a child who may be spending the holiday in hospital or facing difficult circumstances. And that’s where we’re asking for your help.
Why This Matters
As a funeral directors, we see every day how powerful community support can be. We see how kindness brings comfort. We see how even the smallest acts can mean the world to someone who needs it.
Easter is a time of hope and renewal — and what better way to reflect that than by coming together to spread a little extra happiness?
Walshy has a long list of places to visit, and we would love to make sure he delivers as many eggs as possible.
How You Can Help?
If you’re able to donate an Easter egg, we would be incredibly grateful.
You can:
• Drop eggs off at any of our branches.
• Send me a message to arrange collection.
• Even ask for a special visit from Walshy himself.
Every single donation will go directly towards brightening a child’s Easter.
