Spreading Joy This Christmas: SPR’s Toy Drive for Walsall Manor Hospital and Acorns Children’s Hospice
At Starting Point Recruitment (SPR), our commitment to making a difference goes far beyond recruitment. This Christmas, we are proud to support two incredible organisations—Walsall Manor Hospital and Acorns Children’s Hospice—with a Toy Drive to bring joy to children and families in need during the festive season.
What is the SPR Toy Drive?
The SPR Toy Drive is our way of giving back to the community and supporting children and families who are going through difficult times. We are collecting new, unwrapped toys that will be distributed to children at Walsall Manor Hospital and Acorns Children’s Hospice. These gifts will help make the festive season brighter and bring moments of happiness and connection to young people who deserve a reason to smile.
Why are we supporting these charities?
Walsall Manor Hospital serves the local community, caring for many children and families who will be spending their festive season away from home due to illness or treatment. A simple gift can mean the world to a child facing a hospital stay, helping to make their experience just a little more cheerful.
Acorns Children’s Hospice provides vital care for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, along with support for their families. They work tirelessly to create moments of joy and provide comfort to families facing unimaginable challenges. Your generosity helps them continue their remarkable work during the festive period.

Taking part in the Toy Drive is easy, and every contribution—big or small—makes an impact. Here’s how you can get involved:

Deadline for donations:
Friday 13th December 2024
We kindly request that all donations are brand-new and unwrapped to ensure they are safe and appropriate for the children receiving them.

For a child in a hospital bed or a hospice, a gift at Christmas can mean more than just receiving a toy. It is a reminder that they are cared for, thought of and valued by their community. For their families, it is a moment of relief and joy to see their child smile, even in the face of challenges.
