Leading independent skills provider In-Comm Training is looking forward to forging new relationships which deliver business opportunities through its renewed patronage with the Black Country Chamber of Commerce.

The award-winning company delivers apprenticeships, technical training and upskilling programmes to more than 2500 leaners annually, working alongside 500 employers across the West Midlands.

The training provider, which operates two technical academies in Aldridge and Telford, has built its reputation through an employer-led approach to skills development and significant investment in the latest technology.

Managing Director Gareth Jones says he expects the commitment to being a Chamber patron again in 2025 will more than deliver a return on the company's investment.

He said: "We really value not just being a Chamber member, but the dedicated benefits that being a patron gives to our business.

“The organisation has been instrumental in helping us forge new relationships and, in today's tough economic climate, having the support of such a proactive business community is absolutely crucial.

"Clearly the networking events and promotional opportunities have given us a platform to showcase what we do. But being a patron means we have the benefit of a bespoke package of support, tailoring the opportunities to where we need them most."

The renewal comes at a time when In-Comm Training is focused on building upon significant recent growth, having enjoyed major interest in the UK's first Precision Tooling Academy and introducing a host of funded training programmes aimed at supporting individuals to upskill and employers to meet skill gaps.

Gail Arnold, Head of Premium Membership, said: "Our aim is to create meaningful connections between businesses across the region and In-Comm's expertise in skills development is a valuable asset to our network.

"The Patron Group is specifically designed to give organisations enhanced visibility and strategic connections in the market.

“We're delighted they have renewed with us. We have a great and long-standing relationship with Gareth, Bekki Phillips and their teams in Aldridge and Telford and we're looking forward to working closely with them this year.

“The Patron Group brings together influential organisations committed to driving economic prosperity and addressing key business challenges and it doesn’t come any bigger than skills at present.”

The Black Country Chamber of Commerce is the leading business support organisation for firms based within or doing business across Wolverhampton, Dudley, Sandwell and Walsall.

It serves as the leading voice for businesses across the region, providing support, networking opportunities and advocacy for companies of all sizes.
