A trio of bright graduates have just become newly qualified solicitors at Thursfields.
Priya Ohri, Charlotte Perry and Kirsty Underhill all joined the leading Midlands law firm as paralegals before enrolling on an intensive two-year trainee solicitor programme.
Nick O'Hara, managing director at Thursfields, congratulated the threesome and said: "We've all been impressed at the focus and dedication shown by Priya, Charlotte and Kirsty and now look forward to watching them develop successful careers here at Thursfields."
Ms Ohri, aged 26, from Wolverhampton, studied Law at Coventry and Wolverhampton universities before joining Thursfields in December 2015, and soon won Worcestershire Law Society's ‘Trainee Solicitor of the Year Award' in 2016.
Ms Ohri, now specialising in commercial property at Thursfields' Halesowen office, added: "While training, Thursfields allowed me the opportunity to practice different areas of law as well as actively take part in various aspects of business development which helped me raise the firm's profile and bring in new clients.
"I have always been keen to promote the firm's presence on social media and ensure Thursfields' are well known in the digital market place."
Kirsty Underhill, aged 25, from Halesowen, studied Law at Cardiff University and the University of Law in Birmingham, where she was named ‘Student of the Year' in 2015, and joined Thursfields in April 2016.
Ms Underhill, now specialising in corporate and commercial law at the company's Worcester and Solihull offices, said: "Thursfields is a supportive environment where everyone's approachable, and I've been given good exposure to a wide variety of work."
Charlotte Perry, aged 33, from Worcester, returned to education to study Law in her mid-20s at Staffordshire and Birmingham Universities, joining Thursfields in June 2016 and winning Paralegal of the Year at the Worcestershire Law Society Awards later that year.
Mrs Perry, now specialising in matrimonial law at Thursfields' Kidderminster and Worcester offices, said: "It's been a fantastic training at Thursfields, where rotations have provided great insight of different areas of law."
