Truckman Increases Major Customer Relationships with Appopintment of New Business Development Manager

Phil SmithWest Midlands-based Truckman, the leading manufacturer and supplier of 4x4 hardtops and accessories in the UK, has appointed a new Business Development Manager to enhance the company's growing customer relationships.

Experienced automotive professional Phil Smith will be responsible for the growth of Truckman's relationships with major fleet and OEM customers, while working closely with the internal sales team to support the company's daily business duties with main dealers and general trade clients.

Prior to joining Truckman, Phil was responsible for managing sales in the suspension market as Sales Development Manager for Pedders Suspension.

Throughout his career, Phil has gained a wealth of knowledge in sales, business development and customer relations in the automotive sector.

Truckman's Dudley-based manufacturing facility designs and manufactures hardtops for commercial markets in the UK and across Europe. The company's hardtops and accessories, including tonneau covers and storage solution DECKED, are a popular choice for fleet operators in a variety of industries, ranging from agriculture to construction.
