Two Companies from West Bromwich Sign Up to The Platinum Group

Platinum Group New MembersBlack Country Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce two companies in West Bromwich have joined The Platinum Group.

Vacuum & Atmosphere Services Ltd have joined The Platinum Group and SIPS Education Limited are the latest edition to The Platinum Group Service Sector.


Vacuum & Atmosphere Services Ltd are the UK's number one provider of products and services for the heat treatment industry. With the most comprehensively trained Engineers and industry experienced management, VAS, are the single biggest provider of the services for both vacuum furnaces and atmosphere furnaces in the UK.

Mike Long, Managing Director, commented: "Joining The Platinum Group, part of Black Country Chamber of Commerce has already started to work for us. The support, advice and content of the Forums and site meetings is excellent and meeting other Peer group members who share the same growth issues is a big benefit to our business. I am already confident being a member will enhance VAS and help us develop our business locally, nationally and globally."

SIPS Education is a not for profit Company which enables them to invest in the business and provide bespoke services to client based on individual needs. Their core business is in the education sector with one over-riding focus, which is to improve outcomes for children and young people through the provision of high quality school support and school improvement services.

Tracy Pearce, Chief Executive, said: "We have been a member of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce since our company was set up, so becoming a member of The Platinum Group Service Sector was the next logical step for us. Being able to share experiences with, and learn from peers in businesses in other sectors is a great learning opportunity for us." 

Being involved in The Platinum Group Service Sector is a unique way of demonstrating commitment to the regeneration of the Black Country. It gives businesses the opportunity to lobby key decision makers, increase the network of senior level contacts, share knowledge and expertise with like-minded business leaders as well as work collectively to promote the region and tackle the challenges holding it back.
