“Gender balance is a major issue which should be integral to all businesses. There is no doubt that there are many challenges we face in relation to this agenda - it has almost become so accepted as an ‘issue’ that we’ve stopped challenging it. Balance is key for economies and communities to flourish.

“At the event next month, I will explore the current data in relation to women in leadership and ways in which we can work together to promote more women into leadership roles.”

Michelle will be joined by speakers: Teresa Boughey, award winning HR strategist, author and member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Women and Enterprise & the Women and Work All Party Parliamentary Group.

Lisa Cowley, charity champion and CEO of Beacon Centre and Beverley Nielsen, former West Midlands CBI Director and an associate Professor at Birmingham City University.
