5-day technical innovation project to overcome a sustainability challenge which can reduce material costs, increase turnover, improve productivity, generate new innovative products or gain a competitive advantage for your business.
Best Practice Visit
Opportunity to observe sustainability innovations and best practice at other UK manufacturing businesses. Net Zero Readiness Assessment Access an online tool to assess how prepared your business is to meet Net Zero targets.
Collaboration Events
Meet expert speakers and attend workshops on sustainability topics that matter to your business. Net Zero Roadmap Generate a 10-year roadmap to Net Zero and action plan for your business with our team to capitalise on opportunities. Can be used to win tenders or as part of your corporate social responsibility activity.
Grant Funding
Opportunity to apply for £10,000-£100,000 to implement sustainability and energy efficiency projects and equipment. WMG has lined up fellow Black Country Chamber of Commerce member Voestalpine Metsec, a leading supplier of cold roll forming steel supplier, as the large company to present their implemented Sustainable Steel initiatives across the business.
Who can join?
The programme is pre-funded through the Shared Prosperity Fund for businesses who meet the below:
Essential Criteria - Small Medium Enterprise Based in the West Midlands Combined Authority area
Preferable Criteria - Manufacturer
