Black Country Chamber of Commerce regularly assists the media by providing comments on a range of issues affecting businesses in the Black Country.
Our spokespeople, including Chief Executive Sarah Moorhouse, regularly comment across national and regional print and broadcast channels. As the CEO of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce since 2022, Sarah Moorhouse is a dynamic and forward-thinking leader and delivers a simple message to Chamber members; ‘we have your back’.
Leading with her passion for economic growth and business advocacy, the Chamber has undergone a significant transformation, emerging as a modern, influential, and highly respected business support organisation. Sarah has also strengthened the Chamber’s influence in regional and national policy discussions, ensuring the voices of Black Country businesses are heard at the highest levels.
With a background in marketing and communications, Sarah ensures the Chamber remains well-positioned as the leading business support organisation in the region with a focus on the values courage, integrity, and collaboration - positioning the Chamber as a driving force in the Black Country economy.
Sarah also plays a key role in regional economic development through board positions with the University of Wolverhampton, Walsall Council, and the West Midlands Business Insights Forum, plus a recent appointment to the Growth Taskforce set up by West Midlands Combined Authority.
