SIPS Education teams up with Dudley College supporting their 'Into Work. Programme, empowering four new recruits.

We are incredibly proud to be working with Dudley College, supporting their Into Work Programme. These programmes have been designed using innovative approaches to pre-employment training, work experience and interview experience, providing individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, who face barriers to employment, with opportunities and experience.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to four new starters to the SIPS family, Obaidha, Mandy, Megan and Elohor who have completed the progamme. Not only have our new colleagues gained a new qualification, but they have also been successful in gaining permanent jobs at SIPS as General Kitchen Assistants. Welcome onboard! At SIPS we are passionate about supporting our local communities. We also want to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to join our fabulous team!

Here’s what our new starters had to say:

Mandy said: “I was very nervous when I started the programme. I had been to a lot of interviews and not been successful. While I was on the programme, I learnt lots of new skills and built up my confidence with interviews. I’m really happy to be starting my new job with SIPS.”

Obaidha continued: “I have really enjoyed the programme and our tutor at Dudley college was so nice. She was supportive and helped me to build up my confidence so that I could apply for jobs.”

Meanwhile, Meghan said: “I had recently finished college but had no work experience. During the programme, SIPS were able to provide me with work experience which really helped and gave me the confidence to apply for jobs.”

And finally, Elohor explained: “Being on this programme has not only given me work experience but it has also helped to build my confidence. Dudley college and SIPS have given me all the employment skills and coaching I needed. I now have a permanent job with SIPS, and I couldn’t be happier.”
