Start-Up Business Support Programme for Walsall Businesses

Want to be your own boss? | Have a business idea but not sure where to start?

The Black Country Chamber of Commerce are delivering support services for Walsall start-up businesses to grow economic prosperity and employment opportunities, helping new and growing businesses on behalf of Walsall Council as part of a drive to build the town’s economy.

The Chamber team will offer Walsall firms in the early stages of development a suite of activity to create the foundations to shape growth. The Business Growth Walsall programme allows residents to engage and access skills to provide them with the right foundations to prepare, start and ensure the survival of their business.

How Does the Programme Work?

Stage 1 - Start-Up Seminar

A two hour engagement and awareness seminar introducing the opportunities and challenges of setting up your own business.

Stage 2 - Business Bootcamp

An intensive two day training course focussing on business planning, finances, bookkeeping, sales and marketing, branding and social media platforms.

A one-to-one review of your business plan, identifying further support required that is tailored to meet your needs. Giving your business every chance of success.
