Meet the Award Winning International Trade Team

Businesses from across the Black Country are invited to meet the award winning International Trade team at the Black Country Chamber of Commerce. The team will be available on 27th January at the Chamber of Commerce House in Walsall for one to one meetings to provide free advice on your export strategy.

Black Country Chamber of Commerce was awarded the Excellence in International Trade Award, sponsored by DHL, at the British Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards on Thursday 27th November.

The International Trade team has extensive knowledge of export markets and processes. Whether you are a novice or an experienced exporter, your company should be able to increase its international sales as a direct result of working with our team. The companies we worked with last year have, on average, gained an additional £2m in international business.

The Black Country is the Industrial Heart of the UK and exports are vital to the region. The Black Country Chamber of Commerce is supporting local businesses by providing knowledge and help to grow their export potential. The aim of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce is to double the size of the Black Country economy in the next ten years, exporting is an important factor in achieving this goal. This event will help companies to explore the export opportunities available to them so this growth in the region can be achieved.

Paul Noon, UKTI regional director for the West Midlands said:
"This is a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to find out how exporting can help them grow. Overseas trading is crucial to help Black Country firms boost profits and in turn, improve the chances of them taking on more employees in the long term."
