Black Country Chamber Annual Exhibition Success

BCCCE15 067 2The Black Country Chamber Annual Exhibition took place on 17th September at Wolverhampton Racecourse and attracted over 400 delegates. This event was a huge success, with all the stands selling out in a record time and lots of excitement around the event via social media.

The Black Country Chamber would like to thank the Annual Exhibition sponsor, Burke Bros Moving Group, for their continued support.

Managing Director Gary Burke commented: “We were delighted to sponsor the Black Country Chamber Annual Exhibition. It was a fantastic event with a wide variety of local businesses in attendance. We believe in keeping business local wherever possible and this event was a perfect opportunity for us to reach out to new and current contacts.”

The free to attend event featured 54 stands from a wide range of different sectors and the feedback from the event was very positive with many new business connections made.

This year, the popular pop-up speed networking returned and an excellent workshop on tendering hosted by Andrea Childs, Managing Director of Klick Business Solutions Ltd, was very well received.

Ninder Johal, President of Black Country Chamber of Commerce, said: “The Annual Exhibition was a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to come together and meet new people. The Black Country is a great place to do business and we encourage businesses in the area to work together to help the Black Country economy grow.”

As a membership organisation, the Black Country Chamber of Commerce aims to double the size of the Black Country economy by 2023. The Black Country is the Industrial Heart of the UK, and to ensure the growth of the local economy, the formulation and strengthening of connections between businesses within the region is imperative.
