Let Them Eat Cake! Afternoon Tea with Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen

Laurence Llewelyn BowenOn Friday 4 November, home-style consultant and TV personality Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen will be taking afternoon tea at the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre as a special guest of cutlery firm Arthur Price.  With a passion for luxury and decadence, Laurence will be with 50 special guests and talking about being Britain’s dandiest designer plus his long-standing relationship with cutlery firm Arthur Price.

Arthur’s Of The Grand is sponsored by British cutlery designers and manufacturers Arthur Price with whom Laurence has a long-standing relationship; designing many award-winning cutlery ranges since 2000. Laurence will be chatting with Simon Price, CEO of the British cutlery firm explaining how their collaboration started, their friendship, how they create their multi-award winning cutlery designs and much more.  

Laurence will also talk about his life, his collections and what is the next new colour and his thoughts on design trends for 2017 and beyond.

Over 1000 pieces of cutlery have been made for Arthur’s Of The Grand and in keeping with the Art Deco style of the new bar, Arthur Price has specially commissioned silver holloware pieces including champagne buckets, coasters and cocktail shakers all engraved with the Arthur’s Of The Grand logo to make the whole experience for customers extra special. Arthur Price is a fifth generation family-owned company, with its headquarters based in nearby Lichfield where it also operates the UK’s largest cutlery shop. Royal Warrant holders Arthur Price are renowned for adorning the finest dining tables in the World including The Savoy and Claridges, and now this famous British company can be found in the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre.

Afternoon Tea with Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and Simon Price is an exclusive event for Friends of The Grand and begins at 3pm on Friday 4 November; costs £25 per person and can be booked directly through the Grand Theatre Box Office in person or by calling 01902 42 92 12.
