Ambitious Foundation Seeks Birmingham & Black Country Trustees!

Tina with guestsThe Heart of England Community Foundation was originally established in 1995 to serve the communities of Coventry and Warwickshire, but has extended its area of benefit to encompass Birmingham, the Black Country and Solihull. Although the foundation have been awarding grants in these areas since 2013 following the closure of the Birmingham and Black Country Foundation, their Board formally agreed to extend their geographical remit in 2015.

Most of their existing Trustees are representatives from the Coventry and Warwickshire business community and they are now seeking individuals who are specifically based in either Birmingham or the Black Country.

The Heart of England Community Foundation are looking for trustees who have any of the following areas of knowledge and expertise:

  • Fundraising, specifically high value £250,000 +
  • HR & Personnel
  • Senior Charity Leadership (Former or Current CEO)
  • Senior Public Sector background
  • Public Relations / Communications professional 
  • Business Owner / Directorship

If you want to make a real difference to the lives of people across the West Midlands this could be the voluntary position for you. They are a progressive foundation with high ambitions for the future and would welcome applications from individuals who will share their vision and values.
